The Randolph High School girls cross country team delivered an exceptional performance at the Morris County Cross Country Championships, capturing first place overall with a team score of 82 points and a remarkable average time of 20:04 per runner. Randolph brought home the girls’ team trophy for the 10th time since 1997, but the first since going back-to-back in 2016 and 2017.
The Rams placed all five scoring runners inside the top 25, showcasing both talent and depth across the board.
Leading the way for Randolph was senior Lilah Willis, who clocked a 19:39.68, earning an 11th-place overall finish. She was closely followed by sophomore Julianna Young in 14th (20:00.18) and sophomore Samantha Cerulo, who claimed 16th (20:06.61). Freshman Grace Carey impressed in her county debut, taking 19th (20:13.44), while junior Jaidyn Young rounded out the scoring five in 22nd (20:24.15).
Adding depth to Randolph’s dominant showing were junior Anjali George (44th, 21:22.71) and senior Liliana Colasante (59th, 21:52.27), both of whom ran strong supporting races that would have scored on nearly any other team.
Mendham HS placed 2nd with Mt. Lakes, Villa Walsh and West Morris rounding out the Top 5.
