Chatham won an incredible 12th-straight Morris County Girls Tennis Championship, edging Mendham in a very tight tournament.

Needing to win three of four matches in the finals to out-point rival Mendham, the Cougars impressively won all four courts.

Sophomores Joyce Zhang and Leyla Morelli won individual MCT crowns at second and third singles, respectively, while Michelle Moran and Mary Zhang won a tense pro-set tiebreaker at first doubles and Kelly Nie and Eden Heitlinger breezed to a straight-set win as Chatham put up 22 points to runner-up Mendham’s 19.
